Burnside 5th model carbine. Serial number 24112. Metal parts have a dark patina overall with minimal scattered pitting. Stock is very well worn with a large H cared in the left side of the butt and HM on right side. Forearm has a couple edge pieces missing on left side. Overall stock has a battered and uncleaned look to it. Lever hinge pin is broken. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
