German M187 Mauser carbine

German M1871 Mauser carbine. Serial number 1459D, matching on all parts on which we can find a number. Has regimental mark 2U44 88 on buttplate. Missing upper sling swivel. Metal parts have a medium patina overall and are well marked. Stock has a small old filled spot behind the receiver tang, otherwise shows average wear and use with numerous minor marks. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
