Hall M1840 Type II "fishtail" carbine, variant with sling bar and rifled bore. Flayderman 9A-275. Dated 1840 on breech block. Metal parts have medium patina overall with minimal scattered light pitting. Hammer nose shows a hairline crack. Stock shows average wear with scattered light marks, a small behind the frame on left side where cracks are often seen, and a hairline crack from lever to frame on right side. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
