M1879 .45-70 carbine SN176295

M1879 US Springfield "trapdoor" carbine. Serial number 176295. Metal parts have medium to dark patina overall, with scattered pitting. Stock very good, showing average use with scattered light marks, and a small edge crack near tip of forearm. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
