scarce Sharps & Hankins Army carbine

Scarce Army type Sharps and Hankins carbine. Made without provision for barrel leather. Flayderman 5F-093. Serial number 12244. Metal very good with medium to dark patina and some light scattered pitting. Good markings on both sides of frame. Lacking sights. Stock very good, showing minimal marks, with one hairline crack under upper buttplate screw. Missing sling swivel. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Always buying, trades of antique guns considered.
