C1770-90 percussion fowler, marked "WARRANTED" on lock. 44" barrel of about .73 caliber. Has a nice plain sheet brass American buttplate, and a very early French style triggerguard. Metal parts have dark patina overall with scattered light rust specks. Stock good, has dark patina overall, a small crack behind the lock, several light cracks by rear lock screw, a long crack extending to the forearm edge from the front lock screw, several light edge cracks in the forearm, and a long sliver missing from each forearm edge nearer the muzzle. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
