Jas Golcher, Eagle Gun Factory, Philada, as marked on lock, single barrel percussion fowler. Barrel is an original 42" length M1842 Springfield barrel with proofs present. Overall has medium patina with some pitting in the barrel breech area. Stock shows average wear and use with a small crack in front of the lock, a small crack by the lock screw, and a chunk detached above lock and nailed back down. Overall an interesting, honestly used gun. Mechanically good except releases from half cock, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
