P1853 British Enfield rifled musket. Dated 1860 on lockplate. Metal parts were cleaned to light gray with little to no pitting. Stock is very good, showing average wear and use, free of chips, with a couple minor hairline cracks in the lock mortise. Cartouche marking present in right side of butt. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
