Austrian .70 caliber percussion musket. 42-1/2" barrel. Metal parts have dark patina overall with some pitting present in the barrel breech area. Stock was shortened to just in front of the lower barrel band, had a ramrod pipe added which is missing, as is the ramrod and rear sight. Stock is good, showing average wear and use, has some burn wear from behind the nipple, a small crack above the lock, and a couple minor chips. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
