M1798 Nippes & Co, Philadelphia percussion conversion contract musket. Metal parts have dark uncleaned patina with a little scattered rust and light pitting. Stock is very good, showing average wear and use with minor handling marks, has a small crack by the lock screw and in front of the lock, otherwise free of cracks and chips. Missing part of barrel tang. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
