Whitney state of New York contract musket. Full 42" barrel, stock shortened to below lower barrel band, converted to percussion. Missing sling swivel and ramrod. Metal parts have a medium to dark patina overall and virtually free of pitting. Stock is good, cracked somewhat in the forearm, but overall with a nice patina and cartouches. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
