M1816 Type I US musket. Only marking visible is US on buttplate and lockplate. 30-1/2" shortened barrel, stock also shortened and thinned with old replacement barrel band. Metal parts have medium to dark patina overall with old scattered light to moderate pitting. Stock is very well worn with some minor chips and cracks. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
