M1861 SN&WTC contract musket

M1863 contract percussion rifled musket by S.N.&W.T.C. for Massachusetts. Dated 1863 on barrel, 1864 on lock. Stock cartouched opposite lock. Metal parts have been cleaned, showing scattered light pits. Stock has also been cleaned, and has a wrist crack that shows slight movement, and a long grain crack in the butt that does not. Has a few slivers in ramrod channel. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
