Composite M1861 Springfield parts gun. 1861 type barrel and hammer with 1864 dated lock. Metal parts cleaned with varying amounts of pitting present. 34" shortened barrel with stock shortened to just in front of lower band. M1861 type stock with 1863 band. Stock is somewhat dry but still shows cartouches. Incorrect ramrod. Lock missing internal parts, an incorrect tumbler and bridle are present. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
