Maine style militia musket with TOWER lock

Maine pattern militia musket with British "TOWER" marked lockplate. 39-1/2" barrel, probably shortened a few inches. Missing sling swivels, barrel tang screw, ramrod and upper barrel band spring. One lock screw broken off, other lock screw is an old replacement. Metal parts have deep chocolate patina overall with some scattered pitting in barrel breech and a little on the buttplate. Stock good, shows average wear overall, chipped behind barrel tang, has some minor age cracks in the butt, and has a crack in the forearm edge in front of the lock. Mechanically good, except does not have half cock, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
