M1816 Springfield Type III percussion H&P conversion musket dated 1830, with original brown finish

H&P 1st type percussion conversion of M1816 Springfield musket. Flayderman 9A-264. Dated 1830 on lock, barrel marked H&P and dated. Rifled bore. Metal parts are clean with a mix of original brown finish and dark patina. Has original cupped tip ramrod. 100 yard notch in rear sight chipped and part of bolster cleanout screw is chipped. Stock is fine overall, showing little use, free of cracks, only chip is a small one by middle band spring, has minor scattered handling marks overall. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
