M1863 Springfield Type II musket dated 1864

M1863 Type II Springfield musket, dated 1864. Well marked lock, faded eagle on bolster and proofs on barrel. Good cartouche in stock. Metal parts have medium patina with scattered pinprick pitting overall. Stock is very good, showing light wear overall, has a small chip behind the lock. Missing upper sling swivel. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
