French M1873 military revolver

French M1873 military cartridge revolver. Serial number F87971, matching on all parts we observed. Metal parts are clean with minor scattered staining. There are two deep dings on the right side of the barrel, which show through in the bore. Grips are very good, possibly having been cleaned, free of cracks and chips. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
