Colt M1851 Navy revolver. Serial number 173XXX. US America address. Serial numbers match except unnumbered wedge and reproduction loading lever. Hammer is also a reproduction. Metal parts have a mottled gray patina with scattered patches of light pitting. Has a replacement mortised front sight. Wood grips are very good, showing some cleaning with some minor chips. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
