Colt M1849 pocket model revolver. Hartford address that Flayderman notes as "rare" with iron gripstraps. Serial number 185441, made in 1861. All matching except modern wedge and wedge screw. Metal parts are well marked with cylinder scene present, with numerous small dings overall, and minimal scattered pitting. Grips are very good, with a small ship in the front corner of the left grip. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
