C1750-75 French flintlock belt pistol with incorrect lock

French flintlock belt pistol. 6" barrel, 11" overall, about .52 caliber bore. Has an antique lock that looks like it would be attractive if fitted to the gun. Metal parts have light patina on the iron parts with scattered light pitting and medium patina on the brass parts. Nice horn tipped ramrod with barbed metal end. Early curled trigger and attractive sideplate. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
