Flintlock mediterranean pistol. Barrel 13-3/4" long, about 21" overall. Barrel nicely shaped with engraved rib on top. Stock is well worn with border carving around furniture. Has a little minor chipping around the buttcap and forend tip, and a small crack in the lock mortise and by front lock screw. Forearm was cut but wood appears to be original. Metal parts are very good, showing smooth wear overall and a light patina to the brass which was probably cleaned at some point, and a medium to dark patina on the iron parts. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
