Very high quality iron mounted mediterranean flintlock pistol. 14" barrel, about 20-1/2" overall. Beautifully sculpted barrel embellishments and buttcap with grotesque mask. Early style curled trigger. Iron parts have medium to dark patina showing average wear. Stock is nicely border carved showing average wear, minor chips present from lock mortise and forearm edge. Ramrod is broken off. Mechanically good, though hammer sticks a little before releasing. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
