Matched pair of flintlock mediterranean pistols. 12" barrels of about .66 caliber, 19" overall. Possibly european made for the Arabic market. One pistol is missing the hammer and a lock screw, other is missing top jaw and screw, both are missing ramrods. Barrels have some nice engraving, with relatively simple engraving on brass parts. Metal parts overall have a medium patina. Stocks are nicely carved with intricate lines, both have a small chip in the lock mortise, one has a small chip in the forearm tip, but both show little use. Mechanical condition of pistol missing hammer unknown, pistol with hammer does not have spring tension. Sold as collectors items only, not warranted safe to shoot.
