C1750-70 Germanic flintlock belt pistol. 9-1/2" barrel of about .50 caliber, about 15" overall. Nicely engraved brass furniture with grotesque buttplate. Iron parts are light gray with scattered light pitting, brass parts were cleaned. Stock is very good, nicely carved, showing average wear and use, and free of major flaws, with a couple little filled spots by the forearm tip, a filled locating pin in the forearm, a small crack by the forearm tip and a small chip in the lock mortise. Mechanically good except does not have half cock , sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
