very early C1720-50 American made flintlock belt pistol. 7-3/4" barrel of about .58 caliber, about 11" overall. Has early features of fenceless pan and barrel tang screw that enters from below. Metal parts are a very dark patina overall with light pitting on iron parts. Furniture is plain American brass, with a fancier triggerguard replacing the original. Missing ramrod. Stock is very good, free of cracks, with a small sliver missing from the rear upper lock mortise. Lock missing frizzen spring. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
