M1816 US S.North flintlock reconversion contract pistol. Lock parts have been nicely aged and metal parts overall have a medium rust patina with some scattered pitting. Ramrod is a replacement. Stock is very good, showing a small chip in the lock mortise at front of lock and a small crack by the lock screw. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
