US M1842 percussion pistol by H.Aston, 1849. Iron parts are a dark patina with scattered light pitting. Brass parts show some medium patina but were mostly cleaned. Stock is very good, showing light wear and use with visible cartouches, a light crack in the grip and a couple moderate digs below the cartouches. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
