Unusual Scottish percussion boxlock pistol by Dickson & Son, Edinburgh, as engraved on frame. 1-7/8" barrel, about 7" overall, about .45 caliber bore. Nicely engraved german silver frame, also engraved at muzzle of barrel. Metal is clean overall, with the trigger having an old brazed repair, and the trigger does not have spring tension to hold it up, and it sometimes comes down when hammer isn't cocked. Plain wood grip is fine, free of cracks and chips, shows some scattered minot marks. Mechanically good, except for trigger problem previously mentioned. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
