Large bore Belgian brass barreled percussion boxlock pistol. 2-18" round barrel of about .70 caliber, about 7-1/2" overall. Unmarked except for ELG proof. Appears to have had a silver dog overlay on left side, but is worn to a silhouette with slight granularness to the iron surfaces. Buttcap with shell capbox. Wood grip is nicely carved, with a repaired break, a few hairline cracks/chips and slight looseness. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
