Spang & Wallace, Philadelphia marked British percussion boxlock pistol

rare British folding trigger percussion boxlock pistol with American agent marking "Spang & Wallace Philadelphia" in script on top of barrel. Fancily engraved overall, metal parts show pleasing dark patina with minimal scattered pitting. Grip is finely checkered with a german silver escutcheon, shows even wear with a minor sliver missing on right side by frame. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
