British military style percussion pistol. Unmarked except for British proofs on barrel. 6" barrel of about .58 caliber. Metal parts have been cleaned, with light granular pitting on lock, barrel and rammer assembly. Triggerguard bow was broken at the rear and soldered solidly. Hammer is an old improvised piece that looks like the hammer on a matchlock. Stock very good, cleaned lightly, has a repaired crack that extends from the front of the lock to the tip of the forearm. Does not function mechanically. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
