Medium size Derringer style percussion pistol. Marked on lock "RICHARDS". 4-1/8" mostly round barrel with flat top. About 40-45 caliber bore. Metal parts have mostly dark patina with minimal pitting. Stock is very good with nice checkering, shows some scattered marks from handling and some dings in the butt from hammer use. Overall free of chips and cracks with exception of a tiny crack by the lock screw. Mechanically good, though hammer is somewhat loose, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
