French Year 09 percussion pistol. 8" barrel of about .72 caliber, about 14-1/4" overall. Has some scattered proof marks, and date of 1812 on barrel. Metal parts are a mottled gray patina with minimal scattered pitting. Stock is very good, showing average wear and use with some minor chipping in the lock mortise and around the butt. Missing ramrod. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
