Unusual percussion pistol made from a target rifle. 2-7/8" barrel, about 8" overall, lrge bore size of about .75 caliber. Lock marked "WM READ & SON" Metal parts have a medium patina overall with light scattered pitting. Stock is good, as made from the original rifle stock, with a crack in the triggerguard area most of the way through the stock. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
