Model 1879 Argentine rolling block rifle. Metal parts are smooth light gray overall. Stock shows average wear and use but is sound overall, having a few minor chips, but free of cracks, with a couple initials in the butt. Provenance states that it was sold by Bannerman in the 1920's, having been acquired by them from the US government as captured Spanish arms from the 1898 war. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
