British P1856 two-band rifle, Liege contract

Original 2-band Enfield rifle. Has "B[arrow]C" markings on lock, hammer, barrel, triggerguard, buttplate, and barrel bands. Also proofed ELG on barrel. 32" barrel. All metal parts have attractive patina, and minimal pitting, just a little around the bolster. Serial number 1676 on sabre bayonet lug. Period replacement ramrod and fixed rear sight. Missing sling swivels. Stock very good, has scattered marks from use and a little chipping in the ramrod channel, but is overall sound. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Always buying, trades of antique guns considered.
