C1820-40 flintlock bench rest target rifle

Nicely made flintlock bench rest target rifle. 35" octagon barrel of about .58 caliber. Iron parts were cleaned to a light gray with scattered minor pitting, brass parts have a light patina. Not marked. Barrel tang has a provision for a sight. Stock has a slight curl to the grain with slight line carving along lower edges of butt and forearm. Missing an escutcheon in the wrist, and three escutcheons at each barrel key. Stock is basically sound, showing even wear and use, with a long sliver missing along the upper edge of the left side of the forearm. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
