Italian M1870/87 Vetterli-Vitali rifle. Serial number X3627. Retains superb original blue finish overall, showing light wear on buttplate, barrel bands and edges. Has a good leather sling, which is sewn on to the lower sling swivel and may be original. Missing cleaning rod. Stock is very fine with excellent cartouches, free of cracks and chips with scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
