Italian M1870/87/15 6.5mm Vetterli rifle. Serial number 8235. Cartouched and serial numbered in butt. Metal parts have dark plumb patina overall. Stock shows average wear with scattered minor marks, and a couple minor slivers in the cleaning rod channel. Rear sling swivel broken off, missing clip, cleaning rod and one buttplate screw. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
