C1850 G.Goulcher halfstock Kentucky made with early barrel and patchbox

C1850 Kentucky rifle with lock by G.Golcher. Lock and stock are probably C1850, other parts are considerably earlier, probably taken from a flintlock gun that needed to be updated. 36" barrel, about 36 caliber. Very pretty engraved patchbox with untouched patina is unfortunately missing one of the sides. Barrel and stock inlays are also engraved. Stock very good, missing a small sliver by forearm cap, and cracked by sideplate/barrel tang. Hammer broken off lock at tumbler, mechanical condition unknown. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Always buying, trades of antique guns considered.
