C1850 percussion longrifle. A nice frontier-made gun, not maker marked, plain overall in style and construction. 42" octagon barrel of about .40 caliber. Metal parts have dark patina overall with minimal scattered pitting. Stock is worn smooth with a sliver missing from in front of lock in forearm edge and a couple minor non structural hairline cracks. Missing ramrod. Lock will cock, but triggers do not release. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
