C1850 Southern states Kentucky rifle. Unmarked, but identified by its simple overall construction, especially the plain sheet-iron triggerguard and its having been made without a buttplate. About .34 caliber. 41-3/4" barrel. Metal parts very good, smooth overall with nice patina, has a little pitting in the bolster area. Possibly original wooden ramrod. Stock very good, solid, has a couple minor age cracks in the forearm edge, and chipped a little around top of lock. Mechanically good with set triggers, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Always buying, trades of antique guns considered.
