M1868 .50-70 trapdoor, dated 1869

M1868 Springfield 50-70 "trapdoor" rifle. Serial numbered 18074 on barrel and 14160 on receiver, dated 1869 on block, lock date faint, appears to be 1862. Metal parts have medium to dark patina overall with scattered light old storage rust. Stock very good, free of cracks, shows light use with scattered minor marks. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
