Peabody Connecticut state contract rifle

Peabody-Martini rifle, state of Connecticut contract. Serial number 1317, also stamped 34 behind top of action and on barrel. Metal parts have dark patina overall with scattered light rust. Stock shows scattered marks and has a crack about 4" long by upper band on right side (pictured). Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
