rare Winchester ammunition factory test rifle Remington rolling block. Standard Remington rolling block military rifle with additional lettering "W.R.A.Co" on rear sight and "43" near barrel breech. Metal parts have 50-70% bright original finish. Has a stamped tag marked "V-24" in place of rear sling swivel. Missing the cleaning rod, middle barrel band, and nosecap. Stock is very fine with nice cartouche, generally showing little use and marks, but with some dings in the cleaning rod channel edges, likely from resting during test shooting. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
