M1853/66 Snider Enfield Mark II** 3-band rifle

Snider Enfield Mark II** breechloading rifle. Dated 1864 on lock. Metal parts have been cleaned to light gray and are free of pitting. Stock shows wear and use overall with numerous light marks, and a stress or age crack in front of the triggerguard and below the lock screws. The crack does not seem to move and does not show any attempts to repair it. There was a chip in the toe of the butt that was repaired a long time ago and shows a good deal of wear. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
