M1881 Swiss Vetterli rifle. Serial number 219352. Excellent original blue finish on metal surfaces, showing only light wear and minor scattered scratches from handling. Stock is very good, showing little use, but with scattered minor marks and a couple moderate bruises, free of cracks and chips. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
