V.C.Schilling, Suhl fine Prussian early 10 gauge hammerless damascus double

V.C.Schilling fine double. Marked on barrel rib "V.CHR.SCHILLING SUHL PRUSSIA FINEST DAMASCUS STEEL BARRELS". Possibly 10 gauge, 32" barrels, heavy construction. Unusual semi-boxlock, semi-sidelock action. Beautiful tight damascus pattern on barrels, fancy engraving on locks, frame, etc. Gold lettering "SAFE" by safety. Fine checkered stock shows wear from use. Has an interesting ornamental thin overlay/veneer on the forearm in the shape of the usual checkering. Small repair to insert at tip of forearm. Forearm has a couple old slivers. Old "redhead" recoil pad. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Always buying, trades of antique guns considered.
