early Ithaca Grade 1 hammerless 10ga double barrel shotgun

early Ithaca No. 1 hammerless double barrel shotgun. 30" barrels, possibly 10 gauge. Serial number 12613. Metal parts are clean and nicely engraved, with good damascus finish on barrels, mixing with medium patina. Right barrel shows a mark near the muzzle that looks like a dent was removed. Stock good, showing average wear with an older varnished finish present. Right side of butt by frame shows a thin piece replaced, and left of top receiver tang shows a piece replaced with wood putty, and fairly well color matched. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
